| I have a 1972 Mercedes 250 and a 1972 Datsun 510 for sale. I call the
Mercedes a minor restoration project. The 510 is prepared as a rally
car and is essentially ready to go.

| I have a 68 Datsun for sale, and also a late 70s parts truck with a
supposedly good engine. There should be enough parts between them to make
one good one out of two. There is also a hard-to-find 5-speed manual
tranny for it (you really need it at freeway speeds!). The 68 is a little
beat-up but straight and not too much rust for being so old. Nothing a
little body work wont cure. It also needs interior work. The glass is
all good. I have about $1500 invested (both trucks, extra tranny, and
getting ripped off by a friend who was going to rebuild the original
engine for me and never did). The 68 was running before it overheated and
warped its head; the friend then proceeded to lose the head, which is why
I had to buy the other truck. It has a bigger engine anyway. Will take
$800 cash for the whole shebang as I need to pay some bills. |
